Tatu Kantomaa

Marjo Ylikorvan "Hatara" esityksen keskeisenä elementtinä nähdään lasipurkit, jotka toimivat lavasteena, esinemanipulaation välineenä kuin akrobatia-alustanakin. Liike ja akrobatia yhdistettynä muuntautuvaan herkkään lasielementtiin luo hienovaraisen ja voimakkaan tunnelman. Äänisuunnittelusta vastaa Janne Hast. Hatara on lyhyt ote Ylikorvan sooloteoksesta Adorable wife.

At the ESSE festival Marjo Ylikorva’s piece “Hatara” will be seen in Halla which was built in the 19th century.  The main element of the performance is glass jars which will be used as a prop, discipline for object manipulation and platform for acrobatics. Movement and acrobatics combined with sensitive glass elements create a delicate and powerful atmosphere.  

 

The sound designer of the piece is Janne Hast. Hatara is a snippet from Ylikorva’s solo piece Adorable Wife.
